ADU Galerija F8

The gallery of the Academy of Dramatic Arts f8 was officially opened on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Trg Republike Hrvatske 8 with the presentation of works by 12 alumni of the graduate photography studio of the ADU Recording Department entitled “Alumni – Department of Photography”. This is the first specialized gallery for photography students, which marks an important shift on the Croatian art scene, where so far there has been no meeting space between interested audiences and student-artists. Part of the funds for its implementation was provided by the University of Zagreb, so the CSA was able to rent space from the City of Zagreb for this purpose. The gallery is designed as a place to present and question the relationship between interested audiences and student-artists, with the aim of presenting often invisible student work to the public, and bringing primarily the medium of photography, but also other segments of audiovisual and performing arts to the interested public.
