Dům Umění Ústí nad Labem

The Ústí nad Labem House of Arts is a newly established exhibition institution, run by the Faculty of Art and Design of the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. The exhibition concept of the House of Art in Ústí nad Labem is focused on the presentation of important artistic personalities as well as key artistic streams and themes shaping the situation of the current, especially Central European fine art. The program of this institution blends artistic, research, educational and publishing activities, which are consistently implemented in an international context and in cooperation with a number of cooperating Czech and foreign partners.

The key goals of the Ústí nad Labem House of Arts include the professional production and presentation of current artistic expressions, the support of international cooperation through the organization of joint exhibition projects, creative research activities in the area of ​​contemporary art performed in cooperation with related university workplaces, the development of educational activities within study programs realized at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University, supporting educational strategies focused on working with gallery visitors and applying social responsibility in the socio-cultural development of the local community
